Recently acquired by Clorox, Soy Vay is a line of boutique sauces and marinades influenced by asian flavors and kosher practices. To aid in their relaunch, a new website was developed which would showcase the product line and introduce an all new brand personality. In addition to developing the site and brand language, an idea for a series of foodie videos was brought to the table (heh).
This idea eventually became Flavor Underground, a three-part series of web videos highlighting Bay Area restaurants, where their chefs were invited to develop custom recipes using the line of Soy Vay sauces.
The host of the series, Dana, was found through an open casting call on the Soy Vay Facebook page where their community was asked to send in pilot episodes for their chance to win.
