For the 2019 F8 Developer’s Conference, Facebook put a special focus on Messenger during the kickoff keynote, using these two videos as the centerpiece of the presentation.
The first video served as an introduction to new Messenger features coming to users. Fast, punchy, and with a kickin’ soundtrack, the video focused on real-life use cases for the three new additions to the platform — co-watching to share videos directly in chat conversations, a friend’s tab to quickly and easily keep up with specific groups of contacts, and a native desktop app to use Messenger without a phone.
